ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Judith Ann Isaacs is the author of three books about the Jemez Valley: Guide to the Jemez Mountain Trail (2nd Edition 2009), Jemez Valley Cookbook: The Food, The People, The Land (2nd Edition 2006), and Village of Jemez Springs Walking Tour (2010). She also has written two books for educators and numerous articles, essays and short stories. Her next project is a hiking guide to the Jemez Mountains. Judith retired as director of the Jemez Springs Public Library in 2008. She and her husband live in the Red Rocks area of the Jemez Valley.
