About The Author

Judith Ann Isaacs is the author of two books about the Jemez Valley: Guide to the Jemez Mountain Trail (2005) and Jemez Valley Cookbook: The Food, The People, The Land, first published in 1997, with a second edition in 2006. She also is the author of two books for educators and numerous articles, essays and short stories. Her next project is a hiking guide to the Jemez Mountains. Judith has been the director of the Jemez Springs Public Library since 1997. She and her husband live in the Red Rocks area of the Jemez Valley.
